I am sending you a link to our Snickerdoodle Cookie recipe as I am am not sure which recipe that you are using. This recipe calls for butter or margarine. For the best results, I would recommend that oil not be substituted instead. We have had great success with this recipe as you will see from the reviews--it is a favorite in our test kitchens.
