can i substitute ground oatmeal for flour in a cake recipe?

Great question.

Oatmeal does not have the same functionality as flour because it does not have gluten so your results will not be the same.

You can try substituting a portion of it but we have not tested that in the kitchens. Give it a try and let us know how it works.
