Hello: Thank you for your question about adding toast to your Bisquick dumplings. We have never tried this, but my thought is that a potato dumpling is a completely different texture and flavor than a Bisquick dumpling, and I think it would not work well to do that with the dumplings made with Bisquick.
Here are two recipes using Bisquick and potatoes to make dumplings. Perhaps you might find one of them interesting to try.
