I need a lot of au gratin potatos for a large group, can I make 8 boxes of Betty's at once in the oven?

Hi: Thanks for your question. Our package directions tell you how to make two packages together in a 3-quart casserole. I think you would be better off making the potatoes as directed, just two packages at a time. But you could put two casseroles in the oven at the same time. If you try to bake more in the casserole, you might not get the potatoes to get done or the liquid to absorb properly. If you have a large enough oven, and enough 3-quart casseroles, you could get them all in at the same time.

Here is what the package says:

Use two packages and double all other ingredients. Bake in 3-quart casserole about 30 minutes.

Marica, Thank you for your response. This is just for FYI. I actually figured it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. So I got one of the big steam aluminum foil steam trays. I used 10 boxes of Betty Crocker Cheese Au Gratin Potatoes, I followed the normal recipe except I reduced the water measurement by aprox. 10% and baked them for 1.5 hours at a lower temp (350). They came out great! I might not drop the liquid next time. Thanks for a great product!
