1 pound lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 cup)
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can (4 ounces) mushroom pieces and stems, drained
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream or plain yogurt
Hot cooked noodles or rice (page 390 or 348), if desired
1. 1. Cook beef, onion and garlic in 10-inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain.
2. 2. Stir soup, mushrooms and salt into beef. Simmer uncovered 10 minutes;reduce heat to low.
3. 3. Stir in sour cream; heat until hot. Serve over noodles.
