How long should I bake a double batch of brownies in a 9x13 inch pan?

We have not tested the exact directions, but I do know brownies are pretty versatile when it comes to pan sizes. Your brownies will be thick so I would recommend baking them at a 325º so that the center bakes and edges don't burn.The brownies are done when you stick a toothpick in them 2 inches from the side of the pan and it comes out clean or almost clean.

I don't understand why there is no answer to this question: In fact, I am using the Betty Crocker Supreme Cookie Brownies - it mentions a double batch under the directions for High Altitude but only because of the additional flour that needs to be added for High Altitude - no baking times are given. Obviously lots a people would like this info - but instead of the answers from the test kitchen you just get tips.

I am very surprised that Betty Crocker doesn't have an answer for this question. The old "Family Size" box was made specifically for a 9x13 pan. I have been a loyal BC shopper for a LONG time and am very frustrated that I have to buy 2 boxes to make a recipe that I've been making for years.
