Can I substitute whole wheat flour for white flour in recipes?

Good question. In general you can substitute equal amounts of whole wheat flour. If you are making bread you need some white flour to help develop the gluten. In breads you can substitute up to half of the flour with whole wheat flour. Here are a couple of recipes that use all whole wheat flour. Happy baking.
