Classic Beef Stew
is a favorite! It's definitely worth a try to use gluten free flour as a thickener, since the flour is often made from a combination including rice or tapioca flour which are natural thickeners. You may have to adjust the amount. Other ways to thicken that are equivalent to the 2 tablespoons flour would be 1 tablespoon cornstarch or 4 teaspoons quick-cooking tapioca. Or, add instant potato flakes or a grated raw Russet potato.
