While we don't recommend prepping the entire recipe ahead of time or baking the recipe ahead of time, there are some parts you can do ahead.The day before you can brown the sausage and stir in the pie filling and apples, place it the baking dish and top it with the cheese as directed. Cover and refrigerate. Continue with the remaining steps in the recipe just before your ready to bake. Enjoy!
